This young woman posed as a nurse for Ted Cartwright. She was payed by Thuringia Potash to drug him into speaking and later poisoned him.
When Bud Schlesinger and Malcolm Polstead visited the safe house in Smyrna where Cartwright was being cared for, she injected Bud with a short-acting serum to knock him unconscious and shot Malcolm in the hip as he chased her to the front door. Before Malcolm could properly confront her, she shot herself under the chin, at the great distress of her nightingale dæmon. Malcom noted both how young she was and the disturbing look of righteousness in her eyes as she did it.
Ted Cartwright died shortly after from the poison she gave him, but not before revealing that both she and the men from the mountains who were destroying the roses were in the pay of Thuringia Potash.[1]
