This agent was a man from Lyra's world who worked for the Consistorial Court of Discipline. His dæmon was a large bird. He helped another agent arrest Robert Luckhurst on a bridge in Jericho and, later that Saturday, visited The Trout Inn where he put up a poster with a photogram of Adnan Al-Kaisy on the notice board of the inn. He removed two notices to make room for the poster, which George Boatwright told him to put back up. When the agent didn't move, George crumpled the paper and threw it into the fire. The other agent's vixen-dæmon approached George's and struck fear into Sadie so that they both left the inn when the agent's told them to do so.[1]
