The Daemon-Cages is the sixth episode in the first series of the TV series. It will be released on 8 December on BBC One at 8pm GMT in the UK[1] and on 9 December on HBO at 9pm ET in the US.[2]

Plot

Whilst at Bolvangar, Lyra Belacqua discovers some cages containing the severed dæmons of the children who have gone under the process of intercision.

Behind the scenes

  • "The Daemon-Cages" comes from the title of the fifteenth chapter of Northern Lights however it is slightly altered as dæmon is not spelt with the ligature.
