Switzerland was a country in Lyra's world. The city of Geneva was located in Switzerland. The Swiss Guard also came from here. This was where Chevalier Tialys went to get to Lady Salmakia.[1] Switzerland had compulsory national service, and a large emphasis was placed on hunting and marksmanship in the country.[2]
