The Parslow family was a family in Oxford, Brytain. They were employed full-time by Jordan College as masons and scaffolders for five generations.[1] Most known Parslows worked in the college kitchens or as masons, except for Alice Lonsdale.

Etymology[]
The name Parslow, a common Oxford name, comes from the Latin 'to cross' and old French for 'the water' which have links to Roger and Alice's stories.[2]
