The Parry house was where Will Parry and his mother lived in Winchester. They lived at the loop of a road in a modern estate with a dozen identical houses, but theirs was the shabbiest. Their front garden was a weedy patch and they had shrivelled shrubs. There were also a few hydrangea which were alive.
Inside there were several rooms: a kitchen, living room and hall (with stairs leading up) were located downstairs and Will's bedroom, Elaine's bedroom and a spare bedroom were upstairs (along with a few other rooms). A door was located in both the hall and the kitchen.
