Northern Lights - The Graphic Novel (published as The Golden Compass - the Graphic Novel in North America) is a graphic novel adaptation of Northern Lights. The novel was adapted and illustrated by Stéphane Melchior-Durand and Clément Oubrerie. Originally published in French, it was translated into English by Annie Eaton.

The graphic novels were first published in French in three volumes: the first on 11 September 2014, the second on 11 June 2015, and the third on 20 October 2016 by the French publisher Gallimard.
The English translation was originally set to be released in three volumes too. The first volume was released on 24 September 2015 and the second on 1 September 2016. However, no separate third volume was released. Instead, an omnibus was published on 2 November 2017.[1]
