Mrs Simkin was a woman staying in the cave encampment with George and Audrey Boatwright. She had worked as a cleaner and domestic servant for the Sisters of Holy Obedience at Wallingford, Oxfordshire, and was able to give Malcolm Polstead and Alice Parslow information about the Priory when the baby Lyra Belacqua was kidnapped by the Office for Child Protection.
