Mr Willis was the headmaster at Ulvercote Elementary School. After Miss Carmichael visited his school and urged the children to join the League of St Alexander, he openly expressed his disdain for the children wearing their badges in school. Several children reported him, and he suddenly stopped showing up to school.[1]
Eric, a boy at the school, believed Mr Willis had been taken away to a special training camp.[2]
