Ireland was a country in Lyra's world, equivalent to Eireland in the world of Cittàgazze and Ireland in Will's world.
Tony Makarios is described as looking more Chinese than Greek, despite his supposedly Greek surname, but was said to have Irish, Skraeling and Lascar in him from his mother's side.[1]
Ireland is shown to contain one major river, possibly the River Shannon, and is shown to be connected to England, suggesting it my be part of Brytain.[2]
