The Humboldt Room was a room in the administrative building at the Botanic Garden in Oxford. It was on a different wing that the Linnaeus Room. The porter, John, told Captain Hartland and two other men from the Consistorial Court of Discipline that the meeting about Anthony Hassall was happening here rather than in the Linnaeus Room to give time to alert the group of their presence.[1]
