NPOV (neutral point of view) is a policy that applies equally to real-world articles, in-universe articles, reader-facing templates, and categories. Every subject within an article must be treated fairly and with complete objectivity. No sides may be taken nor moral judgements made. Overtly positive, sympathetic diction is just as unacceptable to an unbiased encyclopedia like this wiki as overtly negative, hostile diction. His Dark Materials Wiki is first and foremost an encyclopedia, and not a forum for the personal opinions and viewpoints of its editors. Bias can sometimes creep into articles, even without its editors realizing; so the wiki advises all its contributors to be vigilant in detecting bias and removing it.
