Eric was a child who attended Ulvercote Elementary School with Malcolm Polstead. His father was a clerk of the county court and would often tell him about court cases despite being prevented by the Offical Secrets Act. Eric would then tell his schoolmates, including Malcolm, Robbie and Tom. Eric joined the League of St Alexander not long after Miss Carmichael visited the school. He told a few of the League's secrets to Malcolm. At some point, he reached the second degree in the League.
