Dr Lieberson was Lyra Silvertongue's tutor at St Sophia's College. She was notably young and had short, blonde hair. Her dæmon was a goldfinch. She advised Lyra on some books to read and discussed the history of smokeleaf and roses in the Levant with her.[1]
