Dark Matter Research Unit was the name of the department where studies related to dark matter and Shadows were conducted. Mary Malone was in charge of the Unit. Their office was a small room, crowded with piles of paper and books. The walls were covered in whiteboards with figures and equations on them. The Cave was also in the office.[1]
