- 14 April: Lee Scoresby arrived in Novy Odense. Ivan Poliakov made a speech in the Novy Odense town hall. Lieutenant Haugland proposed to Victoria Lund.[1]
- 15 April: Lund accepted Haugland's proposal. Lee Scoresby and Iorek Byrnison helped H van Breda to escape from Novy Odense. Pierre McConville was shot in the heart by Lee Scoresby.[1]
